IJNE appoints Snaps India editor as Int’l Affairs Secy

Hyderabad: Snaps India news and photo agency on Tuesday said its Editor Mohammad Shamsuddin has been appointed as the new Secretary of International Affairs and Membership Coordinator for Asian and African countries by International Journalists Network for Education (IJNE). The recognition comes in light of Shamsuddin’s contribution to journalism and dedication to promoting educational initiatives in the region. Acknowledging his achievements, IJNE has also granted Shamsuddin a permanent membership.
Nurer Zaman, the president of IJNE handed over the IJNE credentials to Shamsuddin in a ceremony that took place in Central Helsinki, Finland. IJNE office-bearers Anurup Kanti Das, Taslima Akhter Zaman, and Bijoysree Datta, were also present.
Zaman expressed his appreciation for Shamsuddin’s commitment to journalistic excellence and educational advocacy. He emphasised the importance of individuals like Shamsuddin in fostering meaningful connections and collaborations between journalists and educators across Asia and Africa.
